With the envious combination of finely-honed musicianship and an electrifying live show, blessthefall has been rapidly gaining fans across the globe. If their previous hit album Witness was the rebirth of of the band, new album Awakening is the world's eye-opener to this powerful Phoenix, AZ quintet, through 12 tracks of stunning melodic hardcore.

Named by Kerrang! Magazine as "one of the most explosive live bands in the world" in their 5/5 review of their sold out London, UK show, blessthefall continued their global attack in support of Awakening in 2011. With a European headline tour and the top spot on The Fearless Friends U.S. Tour in Fall 2011, they added to a tour resume that already includes runs with As I Lay Dying, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine, August Burns Red, Atreyu, and Underoath. Awakening impressed critics and fans alike, named as one of Alternative Press' Most Anticipated Albums 2011, gaining coverage in Revolver, Metal Hammer, Guitar World, OUTBURN and Ultimate-Guitar, debuting at #31 on the Billboard Top 200 in fall 2011. Working again with producer Michael "Elvis" Baskette (Escape The Fate, Incubus, Stone Temple Pilots), Awakening builds from a foundation of post-hardcore, adding in elements of thrash metal and intricate riff.
