100% (Hangul: 백퍼센트) is a 7-member South Korean boy group that debuted in September 2012 under Andy Lee's company TOP Media with their first single album We, 100%. Career: Pre-debut: In 2009, 100% member Rock-hyun - under his stage name Rocky (Hangul: 로키) - was one of the two members of Andy Lee's boy group Jumper (Hangul: 점퍼), which promoted two singles, "Yes!" featuring Eric of Shinhwa and "Dazzling" (Korean: 눈이 부셔) featuring Kang Ji-young of Kara. The same year, Min-woo was featured during Andy's promotion for his song "Single Man", along with Jumper's second member Park Dong-min (Hangul: 박동민). Min-woo has also been active as an actor. He starred in KBS2's 2006 drama Sharp 3 (Korean: 반올림3),SBS's 2007 drama The King and I (Korean: 왕과 나) and in two movies, Crazy Waiting (Korean: 기다리다 미쳐) (2007) and Where Are You Going? (Korean: 특별시 사람들) (2009). 2012: Debut and Guy Like Me: 100% were first introduced to South Korea's TV audience in SBS MTV's variety show Teen Top Rising 100% (Korean: 틴탑의 뜬다 백퍼), in which they starred alongside fellow TOP Media artist Teen Top and their founder Andy Lee of (Shinhwa). The show aired ten episodes between June 16 and September 18, 2012. In late 2011 already, before 100%'s official debut, a collaboration with labelmate Teen Top was planned, but no further information regarding this matter was ever released and the project was not put into action. On September 13, the group was the first featured group on Arirang TV's Pops in Seoul's new segment, New This was followed by the release of two music video teasers on their official YouTube channel on September 13 and 16, showing the seven members dancing in a barren desert and junkyards. Their debut single album We, 100% was released on September 18. It consists of three tracks and one instrumental version, which were all written and produced by Super Changddai. The same day, the music video for its lead track "Bad Boy" (Korean: 나쁜놈) went online on the band's official YouTube channel. 100% made their official debut performance of "Bad Boy" on September 21, 2012 on KBS Music Bank, followed by MBC Music Core and SBS Inkigayo that same weekend. On October 23, MBC held a press conference for 100% and Teen Top's second own variety program in Jangan-dong, Seoul. Teen Top & 100% Rising Brothers (Korean: 틴탑&백퍼센트의 떴다 브라더스) premiered on MBC Music three days later, showing the two music groups accomplishing missions. On December 4, the teaser for 100%'s digital single Guy Like Me (Korean: 나 같은 놈) was published on the group's official YouTube channel, followed by the full music video on the day of the song's release three days later. "Guy Like Me" was written by Minigun and Super Changddai, the latter of which had already written all the tracks on 100%'s first release We, 100%. 2013: Want U Back and 100% V: On May 15th, 100% revealed two mysterious photo teasers showing off their "chocolate abs" on their official website. The photos included the comeback date, "2013 . 05 . 23". A few days later, TOP Media revealed more teaser photos featuring two shots of each individual member, a group photo, and that the group will be coming back with a mini-album. A music thumbnail (music preview) and 2 Music Video teasers were also released before the official music video release. The Music Video and Mini-album were both released at the same time on May 23rd at Noon (Korean Standard Time). On July 17, 2013, TOP Media announced 100%'s official fanclub name through their official fancafe. The fanclub name, PERFECTION (퍼펙션), denotes that with the presence of 100% fans, they are a perfect combination together. On November 14th, TOP Media released information regarding the vocal-line; Rockhyun, Jonghwan, and Hyukjin along with rapper Chanyong, will be making a debut under the sub-unit named, 100% V. The group released a single album consisting of 3 tracks on November 20th. The leading single was titled, 퇴근길 (Missing You). The group held their first stage on KBS Music Bank. 2014: Minwoo's Military service , Sanghun's Hiatus and BANG the BUSH: On February 28th, TOP Media announced on both 100%'s official website and fancafe that leader, Min-woo, will enlist in the Korean military on March 4th. On March 3rd, TOP Media announced that the youngest member, Lee Sanghun, will take some personal time off until he finalizes on what to do in the future. On March 4th, all 100% members went to the Uijeongbu to say goodbye to Min-woo for the next year and nine months. He also greeted the fans for a moment before he entered the training camp. Min-woo will complete his service on December 3rd, 2015. On March 5th, TOP Media released teaser pictures for the five members: Rockhyun, Jonghwan, Chanyong, Changbum and Hyukjin, through their official Facebook and Twitter. With only five members, 100% released both their second mini album BANG the BUSH and the music video for "심장이 뛴다 (Beat)" on March 17.
