YOU WANT YOUR MTV, AND PARAMOUNT+ HAS IT

Watch JLaw, Ben Affleck, and 17 Other Celebs In Their First Interviews With Jon Stewart

Everybody gets their moment of zen!

After 16 years of making us laugh, think, and occasionally rage at Fox News, today (August 6) is Jon Stewart's very last time hosting "The Daily Show." We'll miss his hilarious, insightful commentary on modern America and his fascinating interviews with all kinds of political leaders and experts -- though we're pretty confident that his replacement, Trevor Noah, is more than up to the challenge.

There's one thing Noah will never be able to recreate, though... At least not until he has a few years to make the show his own -- that dorky look every celebrity gets on their face when they're sitting down to their very first interview with Jon Stewart.

So let's take a fond look back at some of our favorite celebs' freshman sit-downs with Stewart, before he sails into the misty night of news-mocking retirement.

Jennifer Lawrence

J Law showed up to promote "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," and had no problems riffing on some REALLY weird stuff with Stewart. We wouldn't expect anything less from her, to be honest.

Anna Kendrick

Can you believe Anna didn't appear on the show until 2014 for "Into The Woods?" For shame, Stewart. You clearly shoulda had her on for "Camp."

Peter Dinklage

Long before "Game of Thrones," Dinklage came on the show to promote his breakout movie "The Station Agent." It's nice to know that his laid-back attitude hasn't changed much at all.

Neil deGrasse Tyson

Tyson first showed up in 2007 to promote "Nova Science Now" and then basically spend the entire interview BLOWING Jon Stewart's MIND with space facts.

Jay-Z showed up back in 2010 to promote "Decoded" and the cultural relevance of rap.

Woodley actually first appeared on the show when Jon Stewart was taking a break to film his movie "Rosewater," so she spoke to current "Last Week Tonight" host John Oliver instead. Sorry, Shailene.

Joseph Gordon Levitt

During Stewart's very first year hosting "The Daily Show" (although he'd appeared once before during Kilborn's run in '98), Gordon-Levitt arrived on the scene to promote his latest film at the time, "10 Things I Hate About You." Aw, look at his little baby '90s hair drapes!

Daniel Radcliffe

Danrad's been a media darling for years, but surprisingly he never made it onto "The Daily Show" until he was done with "Deathly Hallows Part 2" and starring on "How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying" on Broadway.

Justin Timberlake

Just after performing "The History of Rap" with Jimmy Fallon, JT arrived to talk about "The Social Network" and how we should all stop objectifying Jon Stewart.

Ben Affleck

The superstar appeared on "The Daily Show" during the peak of his career to promote... "Daredevil." Ah, how naive we all were. He also spends some time making fun of MTV's audience -- hey, wait a second! You're not gonna sit here and take that from him, are you?

Natalie Portman

Our favorite rapping Harvard grad was practically a regular on the show for a few years, but her VERY first appearance was to promote "The Phantom Menace." Also, she was only eighteen at the time and spent the entire interview fielding high school biology questions from Stewart.

Barack Obama

Looooong before Barack Obama won the 2008 presidential election, he joined Stewart via satellite in 2005 to promote his book "Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance" and talk some smack about the U.S. Senate.

Jennifer Lopez

J-Lo got in just under the wire (only a month before Stewart announced his retirement!) in January of this year to promote her movie, "The Boy Next Door" -- and she definitely made up for lost time.

Hugh Jackman

Jackman talked to Stewart about "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," and his his eight-year-old son used to exploit their relationship to pick up women. No, really.

J.K. Rowling

The "Harry Potter" author appeared on the show in 2012 to promote "Casual Vacancy," but they spent a good chunk of time talking about Good ol' HP -- specifically about Rowling's ability to show restraint and not return to her most famous work. LOL.

Robert Pattinson

R-Pattz hung out with Stewart while making the rounds for his romantic "Remember Me," and boy did we soak up every minute.

Paul Rudd

Now a Marvel superhero, Rudd visited Stewart waaaay back in 1999 to promote -- well, nothing, actually. He just wanted to hang out with his favorite comedian of all time. Man, where can we get one of those vintage Jon Stewart sweatshirts like the one he's sporting?

Jared Leto

Oh man, remember when Leto used to have that gorgeous not-green hair, back in 2013 when "Dallas Buyers Club" was in theaters?

The "American Ultra" star appeared on the show in 2013 to talk about "On The Road," her Jack Kerouac biopic.
