These Irish Guys Turn Four Adele Ballads Into One Spine-Tingling Super-Ballad

Those harmonies, though.

Ever wondered what Adele would sound like if she were not one woman, but two dudes? So did these Irish guys, who got together for an acoustic Adele cover session that’s so pretty it should be sung in church every Sunday from now on.

Glenn Murphy and Ronan Scolard put their ballad-splicing skills to the test and recorded a medley of their favorite Adele tunes, including “Someone Like You,” “Hello,” "All I Ask," and “When We Were Young.” Ronan’s the one playing the piano in the video below, while his pal Glenn is the one backing him up with those gorgeous tenor harmonies.

The Irish singers are both professional musicians — Murphy has appeared in stage musicals and operas, while Scolard is a composer and arranger as well as a singer and pianist. We’re not saying there needs to be an Adele musical, but if it ever comes up in the cards, we know exactly who we’d call first.
