On Monday night (November 24), Ferguson Prosecutor Robert McCulloch announced that a grand jury would not indict officer Darren Wilson in the August 9 shooting death of Michael Brown, and the reactions to this news was immediate.

Residents in Ferguson, and across the U.S., took to the streets in various forms of protest over the ruling, which many feel is unjust. In the days leading up to the decision, leaks from inside the grand jury suggested that there was not enough evidence to convict Wilson, so the final verdict did not come as a surprise to some.
