Axl Rose has always had the ability to seemingly summon chaos at will -- witness his apparent [article id="1628201"]run-in with paparazzi at LAX[/article] late last year, any [article id="1458577"]number of riots[/article] his actions (or lack thereof) touched off at Guns N' Roses shows, or, really, [article id="1599694"]anything on this list[/article] -- but on GN'R's current South American tour, things are really getting out of hand. Because now, Rose and crew are wreaking havoc even when they don't have shows.

Case in point: a reported riot at a private concert in São Paolo, Brazil, which was hosted by lingerie models and, according to The New York Post, got chaotic after the band failed to show for the gig.

"The audience got angry and started to mount the stage and fight and destroy everything," the Post cites a source as saying. "It was wild. There were fights everywhere, on the dance floor, in the bathrooms, outside the club. Crazy. I guess the free drinks didn't help."

The only problem? According to a statement from Rose, GN'R were never confirmed to even be at the São Paolo show, writing, "There are NO new Guns N' Roses shows added to our current onsale itinerary ... regardless of ANYONE's claims or ticket sales." The only São Paolo date listed on the band's tour itinerary was a Saturday show at the Estadio do Palmeiras, which went off without a hitch.

The same can't be said about their show the following night in Rio de Janeiro. GN'R were scheduled to perform at the city's Apoteose Stadium, but the show was canceled after the stage collapsed due to heavy rains. Sebastian Bach, who is touring with Guns, posted a photo of the crumpled stage on his Twitter account, and Rose took to his account to keep fans updated, writing, "There fortunately are no fatalities, but there are injuries from both our camps and Rio crews, the extent of which is not known at present. The Rio Fire Dept is evacuating crews out of the venue to avoid further injuries with the heavy rains and winds ... Thank you for your understanding and please be safe out there."

A spokesperson for Rose could not be reached for comment at press time.
