Vanessa Hudgens Is Returning To Your TV This Fall

'Powerless' will be part of NBC's 2016-2017 season

Back in February, Vanessa Hudgens signed onto the NBC pilot Powerless, a "workplace comedy" that's set in the DC Universe.

On Wednesday (May 11), Variety reported Hudgens's show was picked up by NBC for a new series debuting during the 2016-2017 TV season — which means we're going to see Hudgens on the small screen every single week.

Also starring Dani Pudi from Community and Alan Tudyk from Firefly, the series follows Emily Locke (Hudgens), an insurance adjuster fed up with all the destruction and mayhem superheroes are causing her city. After standing up for her beliefs, she inadvertently becomes a hero to her eclectic coworkers.

Hudgens tweeted her excitement for the series and shared a sneak peek of what's in store.
