Lady Gaga Goes Ultra Glam For Extraterrestrial David Bowie Grammy Tribute

Gaga dazzled.

The 58th Annual Grammy Awards were tonight (February 15) in Los Angeles, and among the more fiery dedications was a passionate David Bowie tribute from Lady Gaga, who changed outfits three times while covering Bowie's "Rebel Rebel," "Fame," and "Suffragette City," among many other hits made famous by the glam icon.

The Nile Rodgers-produced performance began with Gaga’s cover of Bowie’s "Space Oddity," which found Gaga wearing an electric-red Bowie wig as facial recognition software slowly painted his iconic Ziggy Stardust lightning stripes across her face. Accompanied by a full brass band, she then moved on to "Changes," during which point the camera panned to reveal the artist clad in a giant, bedazzled white coat, which she soon stripped to reveal a massive pink boa and an equally bedazzled, shoulder pad-lined jumpsuit.

The medley then transitioned to include "Suffragette City," "Rebel Rebel," "Fashion," and "Fame" (each cover changed mid-song to reveal an even wilder take on each classic). By the time she arrived at "Let's Dance," Gaga was joined on stage by famed producer and sideman Nile Rodgers, who helped her round out the set. The performance ended with "Heroes," and lots of twists and spins from Gaga. The two concluded the performance with their fists raised in unison -- in recognition of Bowie's talent and the legacy he leaves behind.
