Did You Catch This Iconic Harley Quinn And Joker Moment In 'Suicide Squad'?

Blink and you might have missed it!

Whether you loved it, hated it, or fell somewhere in the middle, we can all agree that for five blissful seconds, Suicide Squad was a perfect movie. Yes, we're talking about the film's beautiful, yet painfully brief, homage to artist Alex Ross's classic "Tango With Evil" cover.

DC Comics

Batman Harley Quinn

Spoiler alert for those of you who have yet to experience Suicide Squad in theaters, but during Harley Quinn's (Margot Robbie) backstory sequence, we catch a glimpse of Harley's iconic black-and-red jester suit as she and her puddin' enjoy a tango in the darkness. The Joker (Jared Leto) dons a tux during the blink-and-you'll-miss-it scene. It was one fleeting moment of happiness for Harley and Mistah J — one that highlighted the tragic nature of Harley's obsession and psychological abuse.

The scene was so powerful, some Suicide Squad–goers were quick to call it the best part of the entire movie.

While we wouldn't go that far — did you not witness the greatness that was Deadshot v. Batfleck?! — the scene certainly struck an emotional chord with DC fans. It was a rare moment of subtlety amid an explosive array of bullets and mayhem, and, for that, we must cherish it.
