Inspectah Deck Album Pushed Back
The release of Wu-Tang Clan rapper Inspectah Deck's first
solo album, Uncontrolled Substance, has been pushed back from
Sept. 14 to Oct. 5, according to a Loud Records publicist. No reason was
given for the delay. The rapper said last month that he recorded the
album in 1998 and then spent several months finding a label to distribute
it, after which he needed to wait while RCA completed the sale of Loud
Records to Sony Music this summer. Inspectah Deck also said he reworked
several songs after bootleg copies of the album became available.
