Apparently, back in the old days, it was considered bad luck to take a woman out to sea. Well, Meghan Trainor isn't hearing that -- during her iHeartRadio Awards performance, she donned a captain's hat and ushered us all aboard the SS Trainor with her performance of her new single "Dear Future Husband," off of her 2015 debut, Title.

Looking all '50s pinup girl, Trainor took the stage in a glittering naval outfit, belting out the romantic jam (replete with instructions for her future paramour) surrounded by sailor dudes in red suspenders, straw hats and short pants. Hot tip, Trainor: Maybe make sure your future husband doesn't dress like an extra from "H.M.S. Pinafore."
