For the first time in two months, someone besides country singer Alan Jackson

or Creed will claim the top position on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Next week Jennifer Lopez will end Jackson's three-week reign at #1 when her

remix album, J to Tha L-O! debuts in the top slot, having sold over 150,000

copies, according to SoundScan figures released Wednesday (February 13). Jackson's Drive will slip to #2.

Rounding out the top three will be another debut, Barry Manilow's Ultimate

Manilow, selling nearly 115,000 copies. With the fresh blood at the top

of the chart, Creed's Weathered will drop two notches,

landing at its lowest-charting position thus far, into the #4 slot.

While many of the recent top10 albums will drop a position as a result of the new

top numbers, Nas' Stillmatic and Usher's 8701 fall out of the top 10

completely. Sade will claim the #10 spot with the debut of her Lovers

Live album, which sold over 65,000 copies.

Last week's success story, Mary J. Blige, who jumped from #28 to #10 after the re-release of No More Drama, will receive a mixed blessing next

week. SoundScan has now decided to consider the reissue of No More Drama,

featuring four new songs, a separate album entitled No More Drama 2002. Next

week, when the distinction will be recognized on the charts, No More Drama

2002 will debut at #20 while the original version will take a

staggering fall to #134.

U2, next week's big gainers, will skyrocket from #66 to #25.

Their Super Bowl half-time show appearance boosted their sales, as they moved over

46,000 copies of All That You Can't Leave Behind last week. And speaking of

the Super Bowl, it looks like the barrage of Britney Pepsi ads and the

"Crossroads" promo anthem "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman" helped Spears' self-titled effort move up eight spots to #17, selling over 57,000 copies.

Some other notable debuts include Totally Country, coming in at #12,

and Shaggy's Hotshot Ultramix album, at #168.
