Missy Elliott Shoots "Bitch" Of A Video

Hip-hop wonder woman Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott spent last Thursday bobbing around in an artificial lake on the backlot at Universal Studios in Los Angeles. The reason? She was shooting a video for the track "She's a Bitch" off her upcoming album, "Da Real World.

Due out in June, "Da Real World" will feature guest appearances from the likes of Eminem, Redman, Juvenile, Da Brat, Destiny's Child, Outkast's Big Boi, Lil' Kim, and Aaliyah. As on Elliott's breakthrough, "Supa Dupa Fly," the production duties were handled by Timbaland.

Judging from the sneak peek MTV News got during the video shoot, the album will have a truly eye-opening launch. With director Hype Williams calling the shots, Elliott emerged from the artificial lake on a giant steel letter "M" with 8 backup dancers in attendance and a new look that was, to say the least, distinctive.

[article id="1443462"]"This is the sick side of Hype,"[/article] Missy told MTV News, referring to her jet pancake

makeup, shiny black leather jumpsuit (complete with long metal spikes), pasted-on rhinestone eyebrows, and layers of fake eyelashes.

[article id="1443462"]"I'm bald right now, so it's obvious I'm going a little bit extra than 'The Rain,'"[/article] she said, [article id="1443462"]"and I got a couple more other scenes that's a little bit daring. Is my eyelash falling off?"[/article]

Laughing, she added, [article id="1443462"]"Look, I'm worried about my eyelash and my rhinestones.... 'Cause I don't think they'd tell me. They'd just let my rhinestones fall off. I'd be looking crazy." [RealVideo][/article]

What other wild set pieces can we expect to see in the "She's a Bitch" video? There were mentions of a computer-generated Missy head as well as a scene in which her entire body lights up, but even Elliott herself wasn't sure what else was in store for her.

crazy right now," she said. "He'll think of something else for me to do. I'll probably be rolling down one of these hills in a scene. Who knows." [RealVideo]

No word yet on when "She's a Bitch" will be premiering on a small screen near you, but we'll be sure to keep you posted.
