The Front Row At Alexander Wang's NYFW Show Was The Coolest

As usual, Alexander Wang slayed his Saturday night slot at New York Fashion Week. But, as spectacular as his sneaker-inspired collection was, if we're being completely honest, our attention was all on the front row. Unlike his Fall 2014 collection, this one didn't have a glow-in-the-dark or heat-sensing-coat finale, but with all of the massive stars in attendance it didn't even need one.

As we predicted, Rihanna made her second appearance of NYFW at Wang's show in an electric-blue Alexander Wang parka dress and hat that looked ultra comfortable, aside from the fact that it was 90 degrees outside #fashionoverfunction.

Nicki Minaj

The biggest surprise of the show might have been Nicki Minaj, who not only showed up in an envy-inducing Alexander Wang bodycon outfit, but also taught his models how to master her "Anaconda" moves. Maybe it's too early to tell, but Nicki seems well on her way to winning NYFW.

Die Antwood

Also in attendance was OG/queen Kim Gordon, who sat next to Nicki and opted for a white button-down and black skirt. Because she's Kim Gordon, no one could be mad at her for wearing her sunglasses inside.

On the indie front was also Die Antwoord, the former models for Wang's T line. The eccentric South African duo looked like a human yin-yang in complimentary all-black and all-white outfits.

Miguel, Tyga

While Kanye didn't make an appearance this time around (sad face), his male cohorts Tyga and Miguel came out to show their support for Wang. They brought their sartorial A-game too, with Miguel rocking a pair of ripped white jeans and graphic top that reminded is of a composition notebook cover while Tyga wore leather moto pants and a sleek color-blocked tee.

Miley Cyrus

The fashion parade continued at the after-party, where Miley Cyrus showed up in one of her most ~out there~ looks yet: a pair of sequin ice-cream-cone pasties that Lil' Kim would get behind. Miley kept the rest of her look simple by comparison with a pair of black pants, sneakers, and some cat-eye sunglasses she made in one of her arts & craft sessions. It's gonna be real hard for Miley to out-Miley herself after this one, but we can't wait to watch her try later in the week at Jeremy Scott's show where her art projects will make their runway debut.
