Rihanna's RiRi Woo MAC Lipstick Sold Out In 3 Hours

Dang, y'all. We totally freaked out when we heard that Rihanna was collabing with MAC Cosmetics back in February, and, as it turns out, everyone else was too! Just a few weeks ago, MAC announced they were kicking off the release of her collection with the retro red matte RiRi Woo lipstick, and yesterday Rihanna let her Navy know her signature shade was officially available for purchase on MacCosmetics.com. The rest, as they say, was history. Basically, the lipstick sold out in three hours flat. YUP. Girl knows how to sell some makeup!

Rihanna celebrated her victory via the internet (per usual) and said "#SOLDOUT!!!!!!!!!! First shipment sell awf!!! Next shipment isn't til June!!! Mac girls gone wild!!! #RIRIWOO #SoldOWT #3HOURS thank you!!!!" She continued, "Straight like dat!! #RiRiWoo" followed by another tweet that said, "Red lipstick all on da paper!!! #RiRiWoo #SOLDOUT #3HOURS #lookatyou #nowlookatus." I mean, it's not really a surprise if you think about it. She's always sporting THE best bold matte lip game, and it's nearly impossible to not want to recreate her super glam look. (See: Rihanna at the Grammys.) The $15 shade will return come June, and if you're bummed you missed the first round, you can sign up on MAC's website to get an update for when it's back in stock. Until then, stop by the MAC pop-up shop at her two Diamonds World Tour shows in Brooklyn next week (FYI: Her Saturday show got postponed to Tuesday!) to get your hands on the FULL collection.
