Lil Wayne's 'Tha Carter V' Finally Has A Release Date And An Album Cover You Have To See

'C5' is finally coming in October.

It's about time.

During a visit to ESPN's "First Take" on Thursday (August 14), Lil Wayne finally shared the release date for his anticipated 11th solo album Tha Carter V. That, and the official cover art.

The project will arrive on October 28.

Sticking with the same theme from previous covers in Tha Carter album series, he used a photo of baby Weezy, this time posing with his mother Jacida Carter. “It’s perfect, because I always go with a baby picture and I wanted to go with one with my momma," Wayne said.

Now that Wayne has decided on an album release date, we have something to look forward to. When MTV News asked him about a potential drop date back in June, he gave us about four different options. Anyway, according to his math, then Da Other Album, should be released on December 28. We won't hold our breath though.
