Remy Ma has 10 more days until she is released from prison, or as they say in prison "9 days and a wake up."

The Bronx, New York MC was sentenced to eight years in prison back in 2008 after she was found guilty on two charges of assault for the shooting of another woman. Well after serving just over six years, Remy is due to be released on July 31 and on Monday (July 21) she called into new Power 105 host Angie Martinez and she couldn't sound happier.

During the 14-minute phone conversation Remy, laughed and told jokes, speaking on everything from all the raps she's written while locked up to her relationship with Nicki Minaj. "Nick has always been a supporter and vice versa," she said. "I like what she does. She's done wonderful things for females, but I just wish there was more of them. I don't know what they're doing; they're letting these guys take over."
