When you hear that Darren Aronofsky is going to make a biblical epic out of the story of Noah and the ark, it's pretty safe to assume that the thing is going to have some crazy imagery, and the first trailer confirmed as much on Thursday.

"Noah" stars Russell Crowe as the family man who dreams of a watery end for the world, but the apocalypse isn't even the craziest thing that we see in the preview for the film, which is due out on March 28. We've rounded up some of the trailer's best shots for you to enjoy a second time.

An Apple And A Snake

Nothing says "Old Testament" quite like the image of an apple and a snake, referencing the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, the start of the evil that causes the Notorious G.O.D. to send the flood at the center of the movie. Plus, it's the kind of strangeness that we hope for from Aronofsky.
