The Hacking Collective Anonymous Takes Sides In Iggy Azalea And Azealia Banks Beef, Demands Apology

The group wants Iggy to apologize to Azealia Banks within 48 hours.

As a white Australian woman in hip-hop, Iggy Azalea has faced plenty of criticism this year for working within a tradition that emerged from African-American culture. And while her mentor and label boss T.I. has had her back at every juncture, her latest response to some harsh words from Azealia Banks angered those who felt her words belittled the bigger issues this year regarding police brutality toward unnarmed black men and the non-indictment decisions in the Eric Garner and Michael Brown cases.

So what's their bone of contention with Iggy? They want her to apologize to Azealia Banks—within two days.

The group goes on to imply that they have the long-rumored sex tape involving Iggy, but even if they verify its existence they claim they won't release the actual tape itself.

While this happened last night, if Iggy saw the tweets, she's been ignoring the whole situation, cheering for her boyfriend and tweeting about hair dye:

Update: Anonymous has since tweeted that they won't be releasing "anything." The body of the story and the headline have been updated to reflect this.
