Exclusive: Get A Sneak Peek At Shawn Mendes And Camila Cabello’s New Video

In GIFs!

In just one day we will find out exactly what Shawn Mendes and Fifth Harmony's Camila Cabello did last summer.

The two are releasing their brand new duet, "I Know What You Did Last Summer," on Wednesday (Nov. 18), and it marks the lead single off Shawn's Handwritten Revisited project (Nov. 20).

"Working with Camila was amazing. We wrote this song backstage so spontaneously and we can't wait for everyone to hear it," Shawn told us, with Camila adding, "I love storytelling in songwriting, and Shawn and I have awesome creative chemistry, so this project was so exciting."

Shawn and Camila have been teasing the song like crazy with a series of Instagram clips, and now we have an exclusive look at the video, which features a new snippet of the song with Camila showing off some impressive vocal skills, and her signature 5H hair flip.

We've also got some GIFs from the upcoming video, which looks to take place on a snowy mountain.

The two, in a recent YouTube video, revealed they created "IKWYDLS" backstage at one of Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour stops, where Shawn was an opening performer.

"We were just backstage. There were like 100 people in my dressing room at the time, and it was madness back there, but I had this guitar and I was just jamming out, and we basically wrote a pre-chorus and a chorus in like 30 minutes," he said in the video. "And we planned to go into the studio, and it was like an 11-hour studio session where we finished writing the song."

The song, which Camila described as a "conversation between two people in a relationship where it's dying, but nobody wants to admit that it's dying," sounds like a mid-tempo guitar driven track, with the teasers giving us some serious Ed Sheeran vibes.
