Instagram is wonderful in so many ways (see: filters, vacation pics, and Zac Efron's account.) It's also blatantly awful when it comes to a few things. Its biggest problem? Censorship.

Sure, keeping our eyes from scrolling past mangled corpses and pics that are way too TMI is appreciated, but when it comes to double standards, Instagram is the worst offender app-wise. Don't believe me? Just ask this poor lady.

British mother Sue Moseley shared a picture of a simnel cake her daughter Fiona made for Easter, a tradition in Britain. The cake has marzipan on top to represent Jesus and his 11 apostles (minus Judas). Keep this in mind when you read the next part.

When Sue tried to log into her account later, she couldn't -- she received an error notification that said her account had been disabled for violating their terms. According to Instagram's terms of service, users "may not post violent, nude, partially nude, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, hateful, pornographic or sexually suggestive photos or other content via the [s]ervice."

This means nothing that looks like a naked body part passes muster. In Instagram's case, this means sexual organs on men and women -- but also women's breasts. (Are you getting why this cake was flagged now? And why that's absurd?)

Instagram's TOS obviously don't apply to male nude or partially nude photos (links obviously NSFW), since there are actual tags devoted to those endeavors.

"I can only assume they’ve got some kind of recognition software that flags anything that looks remotely like a naked body part," Fiona told Mashable. "My Mum was really sad about it as she has lost all her Instagram photos and her account. She’s the loveliest person and only posts photos of her family, holidays and food and for that they’ve suspended her."

Thanks to intervention by Mashable, who contacted Instagram for a statement, Sue's account was reactivated after a review. Still, the question lingers: What's so wrong with a lady freeing her marzipan if she wants to, Instagram? 🎂
