Gwar, which consistently stages one of the stickiest live shows you'll ever see, is planning to bring its brand of theatrical monster metal to a venue and table-top near you.
The band released its latest effort, "We Kill Everything," this week and will mount a six-week tour in support of it on April 29 in Washington, DC. The band's trek, which is being called the Gwarmageddon tour, will include a stop at the New England Hardcore and Metal Festival in Worcester, Massachusetts on May 1.
If you'd like the thrill of Gwar in your very own home, you'll be glad to learn that you'll soon be able to get your hands on a Gwar board game. "Gwar: Rumble in Antarctica" will hit stores in early May courtesy of the game makers at Demon Blade, giving fans the chance to put band members Oderus, Balsac, and Slymenstra (and armies of slaves) through their paces.
