Breaking kitten news: Ed Sheeran just adopted one. Not only did the Grammy-nominated singer adopt one, according to a tweet he sent Thursday morning, he saved its little kitty life.

"So basically this one month old kitten was gonna get put down so I adopted him and called him Graham. Just bought Graham a bed and snacks," Sheeran tweeted.

So basically there's just one logical reaction to this news: awwwwww!

As if this wasn't enough, Sheeran soon updated that he'd created a Twitter account for Graham, "for cat updates and general kitten chat." (Chat chat, as the French might say.) And kitten chat it is: Graham's first tweet is simply, "meow."

More than 12,000 Twitter users agree, insta-following Graham within an hour of the account's creation.

The only thing left to find out is whether Sheeran and Taylor Swift will sit on a trampoline together and write another song about Graham. Because, wow, everything has changed.
