The All-Female 'Ghostbusters' Cast Is Here, And It's Gorgeous

Brb, fainting with joy.

Grab a paper bag, you're gonna need something to breathe into in a hot second.

Director Paul Feig, who gifted us with "The Heat" and "Bridesmaids," sent a tweet that we hope is what we think it is. See, Feig tweeted a composite featuring pictures of Melissa McCarthy (Feig's collaborator in both "The Heat" and "Bridesmaids," as well as the upcoming "Spy"), Kristen Wiig ("Bridesmaids") and current "Saturday Night Live" stars Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.

Pardon the capslock, but when you need it, you need it: IS THIS THE CAST OF THE ALL-FEMALE "GHOSTBUSTERS" FEIG IS DIRECTING?

Of course, Feig didn't say anything with this picture, because that would just be too easy, wouldn't it?

According to The Hollywood Reporter. the four actresses are nearing deals to star in the reboot.

A few hours later, Feig tweeted the movie's release date: July 22, 2016.

Wiig and McCarthy have both been long rumored for parts in the movie, and McKinnon and Jones, both standouts on "SNL" (please give McKinnon a chance to use her "Weekend Update" Olya Pavlotsky character, please), would be fantastic finishing pieces to the puzzle.

On top of all of this, we can take this as yet another sign that Bill Murray just knows things the rest of us don't. Back in September, "Ghostbusters" original cast member Murray was asked which women should don the iconic jumpsuits for Feig's reboot.

"Melissa [McCarthy] would be a spectacular Ghostbuster. And Kristen Wiig is so funny — God, she’s funny!" he said.

Later, Wiig was told of his recommendation. "I will do whatever Bill Murray tells me to," she said.

The proof is, as they say, in the pudding.
