7 Of Your Favorite Summer Movies, Acted Out By Adorable Pugs
There are three things in this world that we all universally love: summer blockbusters, pizza, and adorable little pugs. The good people over at The Pet Collective have made a name for themselves combining two out of three of those things (well, all three when it comes to "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"), creating wonderful movie parodies starring, you guessed it, pugs.
Of course there are numerous pug-based parodies worth watching these days (we recommend "Elf" during those cold winter nights, or "Game of Thrones" once you've gotten over that season four finale) but today we're focusing on the best of the best -- the box-office-busting summer hits of past and present, just with adorable puppies instead of Will Smith:
1. "How To Train Your Dragon"
Cast MVP: Toothless, duh.
2. "Independence Day"
Cast MVP: The pug playing Judd Hirsch nailed it.
3. "Back to the Future"
Cast MVP: Well, Marty McFly is the only pug in this one, so. Marty McFly.
4. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"
Cast MVP: That furry guy really has Splinter's all-knowing calm and ferocious devotion to his 'children' on lockdown.
5. "Die Hard"
Cast MVP: Holly Gennaro-McClane is a femme fatale.
6. "Jaws"
Cast MVP: Whoever taught that dog how to swim.
7. "Twilight"
Okay, so it's not technically a summer movie. And we should name Bella as cast MVP since she's an adorable pug, but Edward is just soooo dreamy.
BONUS: "Captain America"
Like we weren't going to show the kittehs some love. Uh. Dorable.
