Jeezy Is Still In Jail After Pleading Not Guilty To Weapons Charges

His next court date is September 5.

Following a recent arrest, Jeezy has pleaded not guilty to illegal possession of an assault weapon, according to The rapper entered the plea in Newport Beach Superior Court in California on Tuesday.

Five other defendants also entered not guilty pleas for separate charges.

The case was initially reported earlier this week, when Jeezy was arrested after police allegedly found an AK-47 on his tour bus.

The arrest was made on Sunday, two days after a 38-year-old man was killed backstage during the Under the Influence tour, featuring Wiz Khalifa, Jeezy, DJ Drama, Rich Homie Quan and others.

His upcoming album Seen It All is out on September 2. He's currently being held on $1 million bail, with his next court appearance is scheduled for September 5.
