Former Go-Go Sues Bandmate

Jan. 10 [16:00 EST] -- Gina Schock has sued her fellow former Go-Go's claiming breech of contract, and is seeking $100,000 in back royalties.

The suit, filed January 9 in Los Angeles Superior Court, reportedly accuses the Go-Go's Partnership and guitarist/songwriter Charlotte Caffey of breach of written contract, breach of fiduciary duty, constructive fraud, and breach of implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing.

Schock, who drummed for the Go-Go's before the band split in 1985, claims that Caffey has failed to account for her Go-Go's royalties, and has not paid Schock her due.

Schock's attorney has told reporters, "We believe that Charlotte has received money after the Partnership broke up in 1985, and she has failed to distribute it.
