Since the release of their untitled sixth album, Blink-182 have been getting plenty of lucky breaks. Last week they received an unlucky one when Travis Barker broke his foot and the band was forced to cancel several shows in Australia and Japan.

On Thursday, Barker slipped and fell after a gig in Melbourne, Australia, and suffered a broken right foot, according to the band's publicist. He was sent to a hospital, which cast his foot, and then the band flew to Adelaide for a show on Saturday night. In order to play properly, Barker used his undamaged left foot for the kick drum and reversed the order of the rest of his kit, but by the end of the concert it was clear that he couldn't remain on tour.

Blink-182 flew home the next day, postponing shows in Perth, Sydney and Brisbane. The band also nixed a tour of Japan, which was to start March 23 in Tokyo and run through March 31 in Nagoya.

Barker was scheduled to see a foot specialist on Monday (March 15) to determine the extent of the damage, but the band currently plans to begin its North American tour as scheduled on April 3 in Honolulu. The band will headline through May 29 in Toronto, and then they'll open for No Doubt starting June 1 in Noblesville, Indiana (see [article id="1484789"]"No Doubt, Blink-182 Team Up For Summer Tour"[/article]).
