Lauren Conrad is the queen of do-it-yourself projects -- look no further than her eponymous website for a bunch of craft-making tips -- but Nicole Polizzi might be giving the lovely "Hills" lady a run for her money.

The "Snooki & JWOWW" star, who is gearing up to move into her dream home with fiancé Jionni LaValle and their two kiddos, has recently become "obsessed" with creating her own modern furniture.

"My diy project of the day...turned my simple white vanity desk into this!" the "Jersey" gal captioned the Instagram photo below. She added that she used adhesive contact paper and spray-painted the knobs gold to achieve the final result. Looks straight out of Crate & Barrel, if you ask us!

In addition, she transformed an accent table into a "golden goddess." Verrrry sleek.

Meanwhile, Lauren recently showed off her Beverly Hills penthouse, but the new Mrs. Tell didn't boast about constructing the shabby-chic-esque decor from scratch. For the moment, she's sticking more to making Halloween costumes, baking and gift-making. Still, better watch yo' back, LC -- Snooki's a true contender for the DIY crown!
