Here's The Taylor Swift/Nine Inch Nails Mash-Up You Never Knew You Always Wanted

Meet your new obsession.

Add this one to the annals of mash-up history, and color us shocked and awed – somehow, some way, Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" and Nine Inch Nails' "The Perfect Drug" pairs together flawlessly.

YouTuber Isosine, who is clearly a magician, saw fit to officiate the musical marriage between Trent Reznor's 1997 dark ballad and TayTay's 2014 pop anthem, and it doesn't just literally work – it lyrically makes sense too.

Reznor repeats, "And I want you" while Swift spouts, "It's gonna be alright" before launching into something of a before-and-after relationship choral battle cry of Reznor's "You are the perfect drug" with Swift's "I'm just gonna shake it off" retort. Also, fun fact: the original "Perfect Drug" and "Shake It Off" videos were both directed by filmmaker Mark Romanek.

It's no understatement to say we're completely in love with this – it gives us the full spectrum: infatuation, obsession, heartbreak and healing. Frankly, we'd recruit Reznor and Swift as our relationship gurus any day. Behold, the glory:
