The First Full 'Star Wars Rebel' Trailer Wants You To Ignite The Rebellion

Let your May the Fourth celebration begin in three...two...

Back in late 2012, Disney bought Lucasfilms for an astounding $4 billion, and the first major release since that mega deal is inching closer and closer.

On Sunday (May 4), the first full trailer for "Star Wars Rebels" was released online. The quick one-minute spot gives us a bit of a better idea of what to expect from the upcoming series, building on some teasers that were released in February.

The CGI animated show is set between "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" and "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope," and counts Freddie Prinze, Jr. among its voice actors.

Hopefully the trailer can tide you over for a bit, because we're still going to need to wait a little while until we get the full series. "Rebels" is set to launch this fall with a one-hour special on Disney Channel, before the series premieres on Disney XD.

It's no coincidence, of course, that the trailer dropped today. May The Fourth Be With You.
