If You're Reading This, Drake Has Already Made History

Another Billboard record for Aubrey.

Drake is no stranger to breaking records on the Billboard charts. He already has the most #1 songs on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, plus the most #1s on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, plus he's in the top ten for most songs of all-time on the Hot 100.

And now he's got another title.

This week, he broke the record (his own record, by the way), for the most songs on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at the same time, according to Billboard.

Of the 50 slots on the chart, Drizzy is occupying 21 of them -- good for 42 percent of the chart's total -- thanks to all 17 of his songs on the mixtape charting, plus four songs he's featured on.

Let that sink in one more time. All 17 of the songs on Drake's new mixtape are in the top 50 of the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

The chart is calculated based on radio airplay audience impressions, sales and streams, and a lot of the success is due to streaming numbers: As of Feb. 22, every song on the project had at least 1.8 million streams, and his highest-charting solo track, "Energy," had 4.6 million.

This isn't Drake's first If You're Reading This, It's Too Late chart win, either. In its first three days, the project sold almost 500,000 copies, and over the next seven days, it moved another 129,000 units.
