Here's Everything Adam Driver Told The Cast Of 'Girls' About His 'Star Wars’ Role

'He's a person with an iron will.'

Adam Driver, star of HBO's "Girls" and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," is a tough nut to crack. Just ask his co-stars.

Like the rest of the world, Driver's HBO co-stars are eager to know what's about to go down in a galaxy far, far away. Trying to get information from Driver, who attended the season four premiere for "Girls" in New York this week but didn't speak with press, is like trying to squeeze custard from a cardboard box, or some other similarly improbable thing.

At the premiere, co-stars Lena Dunham and Jemima Kirke, as well as producer Jenni Konner, told MTV about their attempts to shake Driver down for information.

"He's a person with an iron will, solid refusal," Dunham, Driver's on-screen girlfriend, said. "I don't even know that he is [in it], I only know it from internet rumors and the fact that he was like gone from our set for a while."

Kirke concurred.

"He won't even tell us what his hours are, if his costume's heavy or light, there's nothing," she said. "At this point he just gets off on that."

Sounds like they might just have to wait until the December 18, 2015 release date to find out what's up with "Episode VII," just like the rest of us.
