Whether Rihanna’s dressing down a sugary pink slip with a denim jacket and Chucks, wearing a glitzy sheer gown that shows off her, ahem, assets, or baring belly in white hot Stella McCartney, we can always count on one thing about badgalriri: she never fails to surprise us. Now that she's back on Instagram and expanding her ever-evolving fragrance empire, we're fully prepared for an epic new year of jaw-dropping ~fashun~ from Rih.

Emma Watson

It's safe to say Emma Watson had an absolutely killer 2014. She used her position as the UN Women Global Ambassador to launch the HeForShe campaign, and recently picked up the British Fashion Icon Award at this year's BFAs, all while staying true to her classic style. From chic and simple airport looks to an edgy, lacy Valentino ensemble during Fashion Week (and not to mention her "glamorous apron" at the Golden Globes), Emma nailed it.

Lupita Nyong'

2014 shall forever be known as "The Year Of Lupita," the real life fairytale princess and Oscar winning actress who captured our hearts with her incredible role in 12 Years A Slave, and her endless barrage of #flawless looks. After seeing her version of a "casual" summer sundress, her elegant Cinderella gown at the Oscars, and her bright red Ralph Lauren at the Golden Globes, it's no wonder People crowned her the "World's Most Beautiful."

Katy Perry

Katy Perry is probably one of the few living, breathing humans who can easily go from rockin' green-haired ’90s grunge street style to a denim #TBT-worthy dress at the VMAs to a frothy, musical, tulle moment at the Grammys, and not look insane. She could wear a paper bag and we'd still be loyal KatyCats, but her bold fashion risks are what makes us truly bow down.

Selena Gomez

In 2014, Selena Gomez somehow managed to make her style even more sophisticated than we thought humanly possible. Her sheer polka-dot Emanuel Ungaro dress, the sleek black suit at the Teen Choice Awards, and the eggplant-colored Met Gala gown officially put Selena's Disney days behind her. Suffice it to say, our girl straight up SLAYED all year long.

Kim Kardashian

So I'm not sure if you guys noticed, or anything, but Kim K kind of had a big year. She not only became one half of #theworldsmosttalkedaboutcouple thanks to Vogue, but she "broke the internet" with her infamous Paper magazine cover, and most importantly, continuously served up a slew of incredible style moments. Her off-duty looks have become just as polished as her red carpet attire, and when you think about the see-through black lace Givenchy ensemble she pulled out at Paris Fashion Week or her understated, blue, slit-up-to-there Lanvin gown at the Met Gala, that's saying something.

Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus, light of our light, heart of our heart, didn't seem to give one single EFF about what she wore this year (having a massively successful sold-out tour will do that, ya know?), and yet, she was still one of 2014’s biggest fashion superstars. Her "screw the haters" attitude gave us style realness in the form of a neon, scrunchie-covered explosion at NYFW, some fierce black leather pants and a matching bandeau at the VMAs, and (of course), her iconic fluffy pink coat. No wonder MAC Cosmetics scooped her up for their Viva Glam campaign.

Charli XCX

To say pop star Charli XCX is on her way to world domination would be a huge understatement. She's got perfect pipes, crazy sought-after songwriting skills, and a sense of style that is truly sickening. Charli hasn't been on the scene long, but she's already made a GIANT impression. How does she pull off Moschino's ultimate cool girl aesthetic in the form of a yellow tiger jumpsuit one day, and then go full on glamazon on the AMA red carpet the next? We wish we knew.

Taylor Swift

No one has had more fun than Taylor Swift this year. She moved to NYC, became BFFs with literally everyone, and what else...OH! Released one of the most successful albums of all time. Casual. In addition to this, everything Tay wore in 2014 totally wowed us. No one could even begin to compete with her put-together street style ensembles (or Olivia Benson), the playful Mary Katrantzou romper she wore on the VMA red carpet, or her epic moment in pale pink at the Met Gala. A true fashion KWEEN.

Iggy Azalea

If we could balance urban-cool lewks with red carpet couture the way Iggy Azalea does, our lives would be complete. The 'Fancy' rapper blew up this year, and she really knocked it out of the park with her wardrobe. While her blue mesh baseball button-up is uber trendy, we equally love when Iggy gets all gussied up in stuff like her her black one shouldered dress at the ESPYs and the red lace Zuhair Murad gown she wore to the Billboard Awards. Teach us your ways, I-G-G-Y.
