Selena Gomez Talks 'Naturally' Music Video: It's 'Very Different ... A Lot More Fierce Clothes, Fun Colors'

By Chelsea Devine

As Disney continues to churn out TV-turned-pop stars, (or in their defense, is it pop-stars-turned-TV?) it’s hard to tell who’s doing what, next. MTV News was able to catch up with “Wizard’s of Waverly Place” star Selena Gomez on the American Music Awards red carpet; the glamorous songstress mentioned new details about her band The Scene and the upcoming video off their debut album, Kiss & Tell.

The video for single titled, “Naturally,” -- a jump-on-the-dance-floor tempo that serve to describe the teen's perfect male counterpart who connects with her just as naturally as “thunder and lightning” -- is "coming out soon," she said, adding, "I shot it a couple weekends ago." Selena revealed she is excited about the music video because fans will get a chance to see a whole new side of her. "The video is very different from any other video that I've done," she says. "It has a lot more fierce clothes and a lot of fun colors."

Selena has previously stated her goal to create an upbeat, pop/rock album that both parents and kids can “jump around to.” This single is sure to do the trick, and if fierce clothes and fun colors are any indication into the video’s general direction, she’ll have fans going wild for it. I think it’s reasonable to say we’re all anticipating the transition this “Wizards of Waverly Place” star has made into the mainstream music scene.
