The clip was filmed live during a performance in Santa Monica, California. (Not that long ago, I'd guess, considering Pink's wearing the same dress and hairstyle from her recent appearance on "Ellen." #iseeyou) It's simple, understated and arresting -- the perfect complement to the song.

"Dear mother/ I know I have been away for far too long," they softly harmonize as one. "I hope you understand it when you hear this song/ That you taught me how to be right in a world gone wrong." Later, they follow that up with a nearly identical set of lyrics directed at their fathers.

Longtime fans of Alecia Moore might interpret the song as a bookend of sorts to the singer's "Family Portrait."

In that 2001 Missundaztood single, she narrates her parents' crumbling marriage and the impact it had on her family as a kid. And now, 13 years later, she's addressing those same relationships through the eyes of an adult.
