'Catching Fire' Deleted Scene: Watch Finnick Teach Katniss A Lesson

Sam Claflin shows how good he is with his hands in this exclusive clip.

Things are knot always as they seem, as Sam Claflin learned while filming "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire."

Claflin played a new character, Finnick, in the second installment of the blockbuster young adult series. Finnick, a previous champion of the Hunger Games, has been called back to compete in the Quarter Quell, which pits former champions against one another in a publicly broadcast bloodbath.

The tension between Claflin's Finnick and Katniss, played by Jennifer Lawrence, is one of the highlights of the movie, which hits DVD and Blu-Ray March 7. In a scene deleted from the final cut of the film, Claflin gets to showcase a new skill he learned for the part.

"I sort of tie a noose and I practiced and practiced how to learn to tie a noose in about 10 seconds," he explained in a making-of featurette. "So I got really, really good at it."

Unfortunately, audiences didn't get to see just how clever Claflin was with his hands...until now. Check out the clip above, featuring Lawrence and Claflin, as well as a making-of featurette that will take you behind the scenes of one of the year's hottest releases.

Both Claflin and Lawrence will return for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1," due out November 21, 2014.

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray March 7.
