Stones' Keith Richards Injures Rib In Fall

Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, who has been

on the road with his band since last summer, sustained a rib injury

after falling from a ladder while attempting to retrieve a book

from a high shelf in his library at his Connecticut home, forcing

the band to reschedule four upcoming tour dates as a result. Fran Curtis, the Rolling Stones' spokeswoman, said the rib injury will interfere with four dates in Europe -- May 22 in Berlin; May 24 in Munich, Germany; May 26 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany; and May 28 in Zagreb, Croatia. A consultation is planned with Richards' doctors for later this week to determine if additional dates need to be postponed.
