Ty Dolla $ign Would Love To Make A Song With John Mayer
The Dream Collaborations List for hip-hop artists is often redundant and predictable. Not that there’s anything wrong with that — who doesn’t want to work with the greats?
Ty Dolla $ign, though, has eclectic aspirations.
Sitting down with Complex, Ty explained how exciting it was to “finally” get on a song with Lil Wayne — the Suicide Squad soundtrack hit “Sucker for Pain.” He also revealed who remains as a hopeful soon-to-be collaborator.
Ty’s already worked with some of the most prominent names in the world of hip-hop — in addition to Wayne, there’s Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, Future, and Kendrick Lamar, among others — which is maybe part of the reason that his list is so wide-ranging.
There was, naturally, Jay Z and Beyoncé. But he also wants to work with Missy Elliott. And John Mayer. And Meshell Ndegeocello. And Jacob Collier — who I didn’t know, and had to look up.
Let’s make all of these happen.
