This New Song Is For Everyone Who Secretly Hates Parties

Alessia proves that you don't need to party to be cool.

If you've ever felt uninterested at a party, don't worry -- you're not alone. New singer Alessia is right there with you with her Def Jam debut "Here."

Alessia Caracciolo, an 18-year-old singer-songwriter from Canada, can usually be seen covering acoustic tunes on YouTube, but she's been stocking up her own hits for a major-label project. One of those hits is "Here," which premiered over at Fader on Monday (April 27).

"I don't dance/ don't ask/ I don't need a boyfriend," she sings, icy violins backing her confident vocals. "So you can/ go back/ Please enjoy your party."

We're glad someone understands that you don't need all the fake showiness of a party to be cool. Alessia is the definition of cool.
