The last time for the "American Idol" finalists to impress the judges is Tuesday, though it won't be last time the potential pop stars get to knock your socks off.

Clay Aiken, Ruben Studdard and eight other second-season finalists will hit the road for the Pop Tarts Presents American Idols Live tour, beginning July 8 in St. Paul, Minnesota, according to the trek's publicist. The tour will touch down in 39 cities before wrapping up August 31 in Anaheim, California.

Aiken and Studdard, this season's last two finalists, will be joined by Kimberly Caldwell, Julia DeMato, Joshua Gracin, Charles Grigsby, Kimberley Locke, Carmen Rasmusen, Rickey Smith and Trenyce. Similar to last year's outing, individual and collaborative performances can be expected.

Absent from the lineup are Vanessa Olivarez, who was voted off in March, and Corey Clark, who was dismissed on April 1 after his arrest record came to light (see [article id="1470893"]" 'Idol' Dismisses Corey Clark After Battery Charges Surface"[/article]).

News of the second "American Idol" tour broke a few weeks ago (see [article id="1471613"]" 'American Idol' tour Kicking Off In July"[/article]), though performers and venues were not confirmed until now.

While the final round of competition between Aiken and Studdard is set to go down Tuesday, the winner won't be announced until Wednesday.

Last year's tour, which began in October, featured winner Kelly Clarkson and contestants Justin Guarini, Nikki McKibbin and Tamyra Gray, among others (see [article id="1457276"]" 'American Idol' Finalists Plan Arena Tour, Compilation Album"[/article]).
