Indie song stylists Yo La Tengo have completed the recording for a

new album slated for a February release. The band said it hasn't chosen a

name for the project, and it's not even sure yet which of the tracks will

make it onto the disc. This will be the fourth time Roger Moutenot

served as producer, and the third time Yo La Tengo traveled to Moutenot's

Nashville studio for the recording. Frontman Ira Kaplan said the

band has a tour mapped out for next year, though it's also planning a

one-off gig in Oslo, Norway, later this year as well as a New Year's Eve

party with the Fleshtones at Maxwell's in Hoboken, N.J.
