See How Much The 'Girls' Cast Has Changed Over Four Years Of Red Carpet Premieres

The girls are back in town.

Someone needs to get me a paper bag to hyperventilate into (and an HBO GO password), because season four of 'Girls' is nearly upon us and my body is 100% ready.

To celebrate the epic return of Hannah, Marnie, Shosh and Jessa, their annual red carpet event went down at the Museum of Natural History last night , and as usual, the girls of 'Girls' completely and totally slayed.

No neon mesh tank tops or shorteralls in sight! Their style game has really grown up since their first red carpet premiere in 2012, no? Well, since the show is turning the ripe old age of four, I think it's time we take a look back at how Allison Williams, Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke and Zosia Mamet have changed up their 'Girls' red carpet looks over the years (Adam Driver not included, sadly).

Oh, Allison. Have you ever woken up anything less than #flawless a day in your life? Something tells me NO. Anyway, the girl who brought life to Marnie Michaels and forever changed the way we listen to "What I Am" has consistently kept it polished and classic on the red carpet. From the black and white strapless dress she wore in 2012 to the sparkly midnight blue Monique Lhuillier gown at the 2015 premiere, Allison Williams radiates ~modern day princess~ vibes like crazy.

From fun glitter to crisp graphics, it's safe to say 'Girls' HBIC Lena Dunham isn't afraid to go big or go home. Last night's sleek bob, strappy heels, and funky Creatures Of The Wind dress were a far cry from her first time in front of the cameras, where she went with a whimsical black and gold gown straight out of a fairytale. Also, that black and white jumpsuit at the 2013 premiere? Um, BOSS LADY.

Am I the only one who finds it so easy to confuse Jemima Kirke for her 'Girls' character, Jessa? Thanks to their free spirited boho-chic styles, like the green velvet dress she wore to the Season 1 premiere or the vintage cream Geminola gown she wore to the Season 3 event, both always look Woodstock-by-way-of-major-Old-Hollywood-glam. The all black errthang ensemble she went with last night was A++, too, especially those lace-up Sophia Webster heels (*insert 1,000 heart eye emojis here*).

I think we can all agree Zosia knows what works for her, i.e. itty-bitty mini-dresses and sky-high heels. Over the last four years all of her red carpet silhouettes are pretty similar, whether it's her simple Saint Laurent LBD from 2014, or the to die for (and I mean TO. DIE. FOR.) red leather Alexander McQueen dress for Season 4 (peep those sweet laser cutouts). One thing that's def switched up, though? Her beauty routine. Peace out brunette waves, and hello to a so-blonde-it-might-be-gray crop. Is Shoshanna going to see if blondes really do have more fun this season? Ah!

Welp, there you have it. Four years of the four gorgeous 'Girls' girls. Now excuse me while I go binge watch Seasons 1-3 until the new episode finally (FINALLY) airs Sunday, January 11.
