Is This The First Time Kanye West Has Worn A Print In Two Years?

Is minimal Kanye West a thing of the past? While out and about in London, Ye showed off his new ~avant-garde~ haircut with the perfect matching blazer. The dizzying jacket, which he paired with ripped black jeans, a collarless white shirt, and his favorite brown Bottega Veneta boots, is part of Colombian designer Haider Ackermann’s dandyish fall collection.

Haider actually extended the print across his collection, and because we are so enthused about Ye wearing prints again, we took the liberty of deciding the other Ackermann pieces Ye might be into. He can, obviously, pair them with Margiela masks, because not everything needs to change at once, right?

Here he is wearing the jacket again, but dressed up with a sparkly mask. Maybe for Ackermann's show at Paris Fashion Week later this week?

Maybe he'd like the vest for one of the days he's teaching? While professors' vests aren't normally this stylish, Kanye isn't a regular professor, y'know?

These socks would add a little something to any outfit, but not dominate the overall look. Also, at $290, they're the cheapest thing on Ackermann's site.

In case Kanye isn't feeling the prints, but wants to continue wearing the collection, he has other options—this $13,950 coat, for example.

For a simpler, but still very Kanye outfit, he can give this gray sweatshirt a try. The mask, obviously, elevates it for a formal event—Kanye can totally pull off a sweatshirt at, like, a wedding, if he so chooses.

Regardless, we are still reeling from seeing Kanye in this new look, considering he's made double denim, leather pants, ripped jeans, and hoodies his M.O. over the past year. The last time we can remember Kanye in a print this busy was probably the infamous Céline silk shirt he debuted at Coachella back in 2011 and then performed in again in 2012.

We also can't help wondering if Kanye's new geometric style will be reflected in the collection he's designing for Adidas. Fingers crossed—we would be so down with something like this blazer in a women's size.
