Audrina Patridge may not have been impressed with [article id="1619291"]Heidi Montag's performance[/article] of "Body Language" at the Miss Universe pageant last month, but Heidi is still gaining quite a fanbase. The latest fan is Miss USA, Kristen Dalton, who placed in the top 10 at the pageant after Montag's show-stealing debut.
"I thought it was pretty good, because she's known as being a reality-TV star, so it's cool that she came out as a performer, as a dancer and singer," Dalton told UsMagazine.com. "I thought she did a great job as a performer."
In the weeks following the performance, Montag's "Hills" co-stars and friends congratulated her for a job well done. "I love 'Body Language.' Blown away. She's never looked better. I thought she did absolutely amazing," [article id="1619368"]Stephanie Pratt[/article] said of her sister-in-law's performance. "I think she really could have blown it, and I really think this is a career possibility."
Meanwhile, [article id="1619432"]Kristin Cavallari[/article] added in a later review of the show, "I was really impressed. It reminded me of Britney Spears at the VMAs -- whatever year that was -- when she ripped off her suit and was, like, nude with sparkles. She kind of looked like that. She looked like she'd put a lot of hard work into it, and it paid off."
But [article id="1620499"]Patridge[/article] said she didn't think that Heidi has worked as hard as other aspiring artists to have gained the chance to perform on a show as big as Miss Universe. "I just don't think she's taking it that serious," she said. "And that's what's kind of disappointing for me, for music lovers out there."
