Justin Bieber Is Letting His Broken Heart ‘Heal Up’ Before Getting In Another Relationship

Looks like JB may not be over Selena Gomez yet.

Justin Bieber is still mending his broken heart.

Nearly a year after The Biebs and Selena Gomez ended their on-and-off again relationship for good, the "What Do You Mean" singer is saying that he's not rushing into another relationship anytime soon. He's still working hard on getting over his ex.

"I haven't been in a relationship for a while now. I'm chilling I'm just hanging out just being by myself," Justin told Kyle and Jackie "O" on Australia's KIIS 1065. "The thing is I'm a relationship type of guy. I love to be in love, I love cuddling, I love all that stuff, but I got my heart broken so I'm just letting that heal up."

While he doesn't mention Selena directly, her name did come up later in the conversation when he was asked about her name mysteriously popping up in his "What Do You Mean" video.

"I think that might be fake," he said. "That wasn't me that did that."

Ummm, I'm still confused.

Whether it's real or not, it seems Justin is liking his alone time, which has given him the opportunity to figure himself out.

"I've distanced my self from a lot of friends, I'm doing a lot of stuff by myself recently which is kind of awesome," he said. "You don't figure yourself out unless you take that time to be by yourself."

Justin, who is releasing his new album November 13, echoed those same sentiments when we recently talked to him, saying that throughout his recent troubled times he got a brand-new perspective on people.

“You grow and you find out that things aren’t exactly what they seem. … There’s so many people that want to bring me down and stuff and so many people that are mean," he said. "But there’s also so many awesome people that I’m not giving the chance to because I was so focused on a lot of the negativity.”

There's something else Justin can focus on and that is his record breaking song. His new single, "What Do You Mean," just became Justin's first song to reach #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
