Norah Jones, Bruce Springsteen, Faith Hill Added To Grammy Performers List

Coldplay, as well as Nelly and Kelly Rowland, also slated to perform.

With the metaphorical spotlight shining on Norah Jones and her five nominations - four of which are in "big four" categories - on Grammy night, it's only fitting for the actual spotlight to follow suit.

Jones, along with Bruce Springsteen and Faith Hill, has been added to the list of performers for the 45th annual Grammy Awards, to be held February 23 in New York, according to the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. They join artists previously announced by the recording academy, Nelly and Kelly Rowland (see [article id="1459698"]"Nelly And Kelly Announced As Grammy Performers"[/article]), and British quartet Coldplay, whose participation was confirmed by its label Friday, but only verified by NARAS Tuesday (January 28).

Jones, Nelly and Springsteen will enter Madison Square Garden with a pack-leading five nominations, and the other artists, with the exception of Faith Hill, have each garnered multiple nominations.(Click here for the list of nominees and [article id="1459405"]for photos of this year's Grammy nominees and performers[/article].)

In the "big four" category, the 23-year-old pianist is up for Best New Artist, Album of the Year (for Come Away With Me) and Record of the Year (for "Don't Know Why"), while songwriter Jesse Harris gets his hat in the Song of the Year category for penning "Don't Know Why."

Nelly's nods come in the categories Album of the Year and Best Rap Album (for Nellyville), Record of the Year and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration (for his co-op with Kelly Rowland, "Dilemma"), among others. Meanwhile Springsteen, looking to add to his collection of seven golden gramophones, is up for Album of the Year and Best Rock Album (for The Rising), as well as Best Rock Song, Song of the Year (for "The Rising"), and Best Male Rock Vocal Performance (also for "The Rising").

Coldplay wrangled nominations in Best Alternative Music Album (for A Rush of Blood To The Head) and Best Rock Performance By a Duo or Group (for "In My Place"). Lastly, Hill is up for Best Female Country Performance ("Cry").

Although the song each artist will perform has not been disclosed, tradition dictates it to be their nominated track.
