Before she picked up Katniss' bow for "The Hunger Games" or Tiffany's dance shoes for "Silver Linings Playbook," or even Ree's tools in "Winter's Bone," Jennifer Lawrence was super, sweet, and very, very 16.

That's right, we're taking a moment this #TBT -- which happens to be 24 days before J Law's 25th birthday -- to look back on Lawrence's very first role, in a commercial for MTV's "My Super Sweet 16." Lawrence played a preening teen queen whose birthday festivities go sour and cause some diva-ish behavior. Uh-oh. Check out Lawrence's screen debut below.

In 2013, when Lawrence won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Female Actor for "Silver Linings Playbook," she called out the role in her acceptance speech.

“I want to thank MTV," she said. "I’ll explain that. I earned my SAG card when I was 14, I did a MTV promo for My Super Sweet 16. And I remember getting it in the mail and it being the best day in my entire life, because it officially made me a professional actor,” she said.
