We Finally Know How Kanye And Beyoncé Contributed To Frank Ocean’s 'Blonde'

The album’s full liner notes are here at last

Four months after Frank Ocean dropped his long-awaited album Blonde, the project’s full liner notes have finally been revealed.

Though some songwriting credits surfaced back in September, an official listing of album credits surfaced over the weekend, as Pitchfork reports. Yesterday (December 11), a Reddit user uploaded pics of the physical copy of Blonde, letting us know who contributed what to the 17-track album.

Among the key findings is that Kanye West co-wrote “White Ferrari,” and Beyoncé lent her vocals to “Pink + White,” as some had suspected. That song also features production credits from Pharrell Williams. Elsewhere, former Dirty Projectors member Amber Coffman contributed vocals on “Nikes,” Jazmine Sullian sang on “Solo,” and Yung Lean is a featured vocalist on “Godspeed” (not on “Self Control,” as many had guessed). Jon Brion (a key player on Kanye's Late Registration) is all over this thing, and James Blake also had several credits — he contributed production, arrangement, and keyboards on “Solo,” “Solo (Reprise),” and “Godspeed.”
