The Evolution of Snooki's Growing Baby Bump
Shortly after Nicole Polizzi announced she was expecting baby number two, the "Snooki & JWOWW" star began to document her growing belly with a series of unforgettable selfies, snapshots and updates about her "babygirl." After all, this guidette wrote and perfected the unofficial guide for snapping the perfect shot of her expanding tummy. Side view, posture, the time of day and clothing choices all make a difference.
Now that Snooki's in the final stretch -- the "Jersey" gal is due to give birth to her mini-me meatball within the next month -- we're taking a look at the evolution of her ballooning bump courtesy of some official photographs, as well as slew from her personal collection:
The big reveal
When Nicole shared the exciting news that her brood was expanding in early April, the future family of four shared this sweet portrait. Lorenzo already looked ready to take on his new role, as evidenced by his bright "Big Brother" T-shirt.
Nicole's itty-bitty belly, clad in a tight black top, made its first official appearance at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards press junket in mid-April. Positively glowing!
Make way for the pregnant BFFs! Nicole and her partner in crime Jenni Farley showcased their respective buns in the oven, in some chic dresses, as they made their time together at the MTV Movie Awards a double date to remember.
Our girl officially popped! Snooki offered an up-close and personal glimpse when she hit the three-month mark.
Her Instagram hashtag said it all about this almost-six-month snap. And we're digging her workout ensemble!
Snooki knew that there's no better way to showcase your burgeoning bump than by donning a two-piece.
Nicole offered her view of her round belly while taking it easy on the couch.
Snooki encountered a slight wardrobe issue while trying to fasten her belt over her bright floral bathing suit, but she still looked summery fresh.
The glammed-up future LaValles, with Nicole showing a bit of leg in a form-fitting frock, attended a wedding on Independence Day. Snooki also showcased how she went "hard" during the long holiday weekend: in her leopard jammies while clutching a baby bottle.
In a stylish striped max, no less.
Even though the 4'9" mama said she was "HUGE," she hit the gym at NINE MONTHS -- in the blistering summer heat. Major kudos, Snooki!
You would never know how Nicole was really feeling by her kissy-faced photo. A clue: She hashtagged the photo #DYING.
Two-year-old Lorenzo clearly got impatient and began "summoning sissy to come out." And who can blame him? We're anxiously waiting to see this brother-sister duo in action!
